What if my insurance does not cover my treatment?
It is the patient’s responsibility to know what their insurance plan does and does not cover. As a courtesy, Oakwood Dental will assist in filing the necessary forms to help our patients receive full benefits of their coverage. This insurance relationship constitutes an agreement between the carrier and the patient. As such, Oakwood Dental cannot guarantee coverage or payment.
Dental insurance benefits are not a guarantee of coverage or payment. Coverage and payment are subject to review by the insurance, and not finalized until a claim has been processed. Any insurance estimate given by Oakwood Dental is not a guarantee of actual insurance payment. Furthermore, any insurance claim not paid in full after 60 days will become the patient’s responsibility. The patient is ultimately responsible for payment of all charges not covered by insurance.
PLEASE NOTE: Patients will be required to pay all ESTIMATED Deductible, co-pay, and co-insurance amounts AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. We accept cash, personal checks, all major credit cards and Care Credit.
